Class Styles

(All available through private bookings. Please see schedule for Studio Classes)


 

Hatha Stretch Class – A combination of yoga postures designed to help stretch, strengthen and relieve tension.  Muscles will be able to recover faster, allowing cyclists to get back in the saddle quicker, and increase performance for future rides.
 

Classes appropriate for all levels.  Modifications can be made as necessary.

Deep Hatha Stretch Class – Benefits of many yoga postures can be determined by the length of time in the poses.  Postures/stretches are able to get deeper into the muscles when held for longer periods of time.  Tension and tightness can be released, allowing muscles to heal faster.  

 

This class is suitable for all levels.  Postures may be held for up to 5 minutes.  Breath work is incorporated as well.

Flow Class – Get the benefits of yoga and a workout in one! This class flows at a quicker pace; creating your own heat to get your heart pumping.  Great for all athletes.  

 

This class is a faster flow.  May not be suitable for individuals new to yoga or stretching.

Strength Yoga Class – Use your own body to create resistance by engaging your muscles, helping to make them stronger and equally balanced.  Most athletes have a dominate side, creating an imbalance of muscle strength.  This effects performance by decreasing power and speed.  An imbalance of muscles can also lead to fatigue and injury.  This class will allow you to balance yourself out, increase strength, and fire up those muscles you forgot you had!  A strong balance of all the bodies’ muscles allows athletes to function at their peak performance.

 

Classes appropriate for all levels.  Modifications can be made as necessary.
